May 27 - May 30 Iowa State University Congratulations to all the teams for your outstanding performances! We are proud to welcome everyone to the 30th Anniversary of the Odyssey of the Mind World Finals hosted by Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa. Find all of the important 2009 World Finals information here whether you are a coach, parent, team, member of the press - or just curious! You will find directories for fun things to do at World Finals, Frequently Asked Questions, necessary forms for participation, and much, much more! Odyssey of the Mind is an international educational program that provides creative problem-solving opportunities for students from kindergarten through college. Team members apply their creativity to solve problems that range from building mechanical devices to presenting their own interpretation of literary classics. They then bring their solutions to competition on the local, state, and World level. Thousands of teams from throughout the U.S. and from about 25 other countries participate in the program.
